Very good write up from a Quins point of view of the Quins v Saracens game
There’s been a lot said in the wake of friday’s debacle: how Nick Evans isn’t so much past it as already over the hills and far away, how Quins pack is too lightweight, their squad too one dimensional and their backs made of porcelain, that their style of play has been found out and lack of depth at certain positions cruelly exposed. Some of the above may be true in part, or none of it may be. What this article will focus on is just a couple of aspects I think have not been covered as much in the wake of friday’s game which might explain just what went terribly wrong.
The match replay was a really difficult re-watch; it’s very apparently that Quins weren’t themselves and struggled to break into a rhythm and consequently, break down their very capable opposition.
