European Rugby Champions Cup 2015-2016 Semi Final Predictions

As we get to the pointy end of European premier club competitions the cream have raised to the top. Here are my predictions for the semi finals.

First here is a link to my round-up of last weekends action.

How did your quarter-final predictions go?

4 from 4, perfect but it did mean my Chiefs got knocked out.

Here is my 30 second One Line Predictions read the full reasoning below.

Saracens v Wasps

When you have the cream rising to the top then either side could win the game. These two teams have met twice this season already with one win each. The thing is though that Wasps thrashed Saracens the last time they met and that is the game that is fresh in the memory. There really is not much between these two side though and it’s going to be who turns up on the day. I’m going with Saracens greater big match experience to carry them through by a narrow margin.

Leicester Tigers v Racing Metro 92

Both these sides are having to fight domestically to make suer they make the respective playoffs as well as this tournament. Racing Metro were able to rest players last weekend due to their squad but that did lead to a loss. Tigers had a hard-fought win over Saints. Who’s to say which preparation will be best for either side? With these two teams they both have big game experience and I’m backing home advantage to be the deciding factor but again it’s going to be close.
