Pro14 2018-2019 Round 10 Predictions

Our focus can be fully on domestic action this weekend even if there is the distraction of European competitions next weekend.

Here is my video with my Pro14 Round 10 Predictions:

Munster v Edinburgh – Munster by 15

This is a simple one, Munster have a perfect record at home and Edinburgh are yet to win away from home this season. So big TBP home win.

Ospreys v Zebre Rugby Club – Ospreys by 10

Ospreys were on the end of a hiding last weekend but that was away from home at the European Champions. Zebre are improving but again they are a side that has only won at home so far this season so another comfortable home win.

Ulster v Cardiff Blues – Ulster by 7

This is one of those games where I look at it and because Ulster have let me down so many times in the past I’m initially not sure. Then I remember that Cardiff haven’t won outside of Wales this season and you scratch in the home win.

Cheetahs v Connacht Rugby – Cheetahs by 3

Oh boy this is tough to call. Cheetahs home record isn’t bad, they have only lost to Glasgow and Munster. However their overall record is poor and Connacht have won 4 out of their last 6 games. With a 17 point margin victory over the Kings last weekend, Connacht have shown they can win in South Africa but I’m still going to just go with the home side.

Dragons v Leinster – Leinster by 10

Leinster have only lost once all season and that was away at Scarlets. Dragons are most certainly not Scarlets caliber and so this has away TBP victory written all over it.

Glasgow Warriors v Scarlets – Glasgow Warriors by 7

This has the makings of a cracking side as we see two of the top attacking sides in the league going head to head. Scarlets though have been poor on the road with their only victory coming against the Kings. Glasgow are another of those sides with a perfect home record and that’s whats making me go with the home side here.

Kings v Benetton Treviso – Kings by 3

Benetton lost to Cheetahs last weekend in South Africa. I don’t know if they will have flown their internationals down for this game or if they are resting them after the window. That could make a big difference but as I don’t know they are coming I have to go with the home side in a close one here despite the Kings poor season.
