Pro14 2018-2019 Round 12 Predictions

The South African sides have another week off whilst all the other sides continue their derby fun! I’m on vacation for Christmas and New Year but that’s no reason to stop my predictions.

Here is my video with my Pro14 Round 12 Predictions:

Connacht Rugby v Ulster – Connacht Rugby by 3

Connacht will be looking to do the double over Ulster after winning away earlier in the season. Connacht were on a decent run before playing Leinster and whilst they did get beaten that’s no disgrace. Ulster also are’t the greatest on the road.

Benetton Treviso v Zebre Rugby Club – Benetton Treviso by 7

Benetton are the better home side and are at home. So it’s a simple choice really, especially after getting the away win last weekend.

Glasgow Warriors v Edinburgh – Glasgow Warriors by 15

Glasgow will be looking for a TBP win here, whilst Edinburgh are formidable at home they aren’t on the road. The silver lining is that it is a road trip not a plane trip so maybe Edinburgh will be stronger than they normally are away form home.

Munster v Leinster – Munster by 5

One of the all time classic rivalries this has to be the game of the weekend especially with both these sides racking up the wins. Whilst Munster have been poor on the road they have a perfect home record. I think this will be one of the rare losses for Leinster this season.

Scarlets v Cardiff Blues – Scarlets by 7

Scarlets are another side with a perfect home record in the Pro 14 this season. Their European campaign will have been a disappointment for them but also meaning all their eggs can go in the Pro 14 basket. Blues have only won once on the road and that was the short trip to Dragons. Comfortable home win.

Dragons v Ospreys – Ospreys by 10

Dragons are in disarray and until we see something more out of them we’ll always be thinking of a reason they won’t lose rather than can win. So away win for Ospreys probably with a TBP.
