With the bottom 3 teams all playing away this weekend it should be a fairly easy one for the pickers. The big question is can you get that final game right to pick up a clean sweep of all games? I got rounds 11 and 13 completely right, let’s see if I can nail another one. You can catchup on last weekend’s action with The Runner Sports round-up.
Here is my video with my MLR 2019 Round 15 Predictions:
New Orleans Gold v Austin Elite – New Orleans Gold by 20
Austin haven’t won a game all season and travelling to NOLA isn’t going to change that. NOLA will be looking to put pressure on Legion who have just knocked them off the top spot. NOLA do have a game in hand over the Legion but a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush as they say. NOLA’s big strength has been their try scoring. In their 11 games they have picked up the TBP 10 times. So expect a high scoring game here.
Glendale Raptors v Utah Warriors – Glendale Raptors by 7
Is was close last weekend but the Raptors still have not lost at home in MLR. That’s right not last season or this. I really can’t see the Warriors, who are down in 7th, being the first ones to change this. Raptors haven’t been all dominating but they know how to get the job done and altitude certainly helps them.
Toronto Arrows v San Diego Legion – San Diego Legion by 7
Last weekend the lose, win sequence of the Arrows was finally broken. They put in a commanding performance to see off the Seawolves. That’s the first time that they have put back to back wins together. This week though it just gets harder. Legion have gone top of the table and really are showing that they are contenders this season. The Legion haven’t lost away from home this season (they drew in Glendale!) So you have to back that record.
Rugby United New York v Houston SaberCats – Rugby United New York by 10
RUNY came so close to beating the Raptors last weekend. They have lost 2 of their last 3 games and only just saw off the Warriors by 2 points. Is that early season travel starting to catchup with them? Either way they shouldn’t have any trouble seeing off the SaberCats. I have however trimmed the margin as RUNY may use this game to rotate some players.
