Pro14 2018-2019 Quarter-Final Predictions

We are into the finals now! Even though it’s the quarter-final there are only 2 games this weekend and there’ll be 3 games on the semi-final weekend. This is all so confusing bu shows you why teams wanted to finish top of their conference to get a rest this weekend.

Here is my video with my Pro14 Quarter-Final Predictions:

VIDEO COMING

Before we get into the games here is how the tables finished.

Munster v Benetton Treviso – Munster by 10

Munster have won the last 9 games between these 2 sides and the gap has only once been less than 10. That was the last time they met when it was 9 points. You have to say that Munster are heavy favourites in this game and as the European Rugby Champions Cup semi-finalists you can understand why.

Benetton have done well to get to this stage and it shows the growth that the team is going through at the moment. It will be good experience for future years but I can’t see them going any further.

Ulster v Connacht Rugby – Connacht Rugby by 5

This games is much tighter. I’m going for the upset here as Connacht have won the last 3 games between these 2 sides. For the away team to win in these knockout games is very rare. However Ulster have a record of disappointing when you think they are going to do well. Maybe I’m over reacting to being burnt in the past, time will tell.
