Currie Cup 2019 Round 4 Predictions

It’s been a tough couple of weeks picking in the Currie Cup and draws really haven’t helped things. Let’s hope that we have some more luck this weekend.

Here are my Currie Cup Premiership Round 4 Predictions:

The Cheetahs have had a couple of good wins where as the Lions have been sneaking their wins. With those margins you have to go with the home side. Sharks I think will be most people’s favourite to add more misery to the Pumas season. It’s 3 losses on the trot so far for them. The last one is a hard pick but have the Bulls not kick started their season? We’ll have to wait and see.

Cheetahs v Lions Cheetahs by 5
Pumas v Sharks Sharks by 5
Blue Bulls v Griquas Blue Bulls by 3

So far this season I’m 4 from 9

Note – I had a shocker last weekend. I went for the minor upset of the Bulls losing and then followed the crowd in backing Western Province. The community average on SuperBru is only 50% correct so it’s not been an easy season so far.

Here are my Currie Cup First Division Round 5 Predictions:

The Griffons only loss so far has been to the Jaguares and they are at home. Then I’m going for the Valke as they haven’t lost all season (even if that does include 2 draws). Everyone is going for the Jaguares for the rest of the season is my guess. The only question is going to be margins. Finally the 2 bottom teams meet and even though the Bulldogs are at home they are already -103 points difference! That’s not narrow wins my friends.

Griffons v Leopards Griffons by 5
Boland Cavaliers v Valke Valke by 5
Jaguares XV v SWD Eagles Jaguares XV by 40
Border Bulldogs v EP Elephants EP Elephants by 1

So far this season I’m 9 from 16.
