2 upsets last weekend show that this is possibly one of the most competitive Currie Cup Premierships in years. Thankfully the Championship has been a little more predictable.
Here are my Currie Cup Premiership Round 6 Predictions:
Normally Western Province are an easy pick but they haven’t been up to their usual standard this season. So I’m backing the Griquas to get the home win. The Cheetahs started with 2 good wins then have slipped to 2 losses. However against the Pumas I think they will get back on track. The Lions had a shock defeat to the Bulls last weekend and I think they will bounce back agains the Sharks.
|Griquas v Western Province||Griquas by 7|
|Pumas v Cheetahs||Cheetahs by 7|
|Lions v Sharks||Lions by 5|
So far this season I’m 5 from 15
Here are my Currie Cup First Division Round 7 Predictions:
The Jaguares are taking this competition by storm and that they can’t be promoted is wrong. The only loss that the Griffons and Valke have had was to the Jaguares so that’s 2 wins booked in even if they both have a couple of draws in there. Finally the Bulldogs have lost all their games so a rare win for the Eagles this weekend.
|Jaguares XV v Leopards||Jaguares XV by 60|
|Boland Cavaliers v Griffons||Griffons by 7|
|Border Bulldogs v SWD Eagles||SWD Eagles by 7|
|EP Elephants v Valke||Valke by 15|
So far this season I’m 16 from 24.
