NRC 2019 Round 3 Predictions

I’ 6 from 8 so far in the NRC. A good start to the season, can I now keep it going?

Sydney Rays v Queensland Country – Queensland Country by 10

Sydney might have finally started to try and take this competition seriously but the Rays are still one of the weakest teams. Queensland should get a comfortable win on the road.

Canberra Vikings v Brisbane City – Canberra Vikings by 5

The Vikings first game at home isn’t an easy one but they are normally one of the top sides. City have had a decent start but both those games have been at home. On the road I think they’ll find this weekend a tougher prospect.

NSW Country Eagles v Fiji Drua – NSW Country Eagles by 3

As I’ve already said Syndey/NSW are taking this competition more seriously. Also the Drua have lost a lot of quality to the Rugby World Cup. So this should be a home win but I’m still waiting to see how competitive the Eagles really are.

Force v Melbourne Rising – Force by 15

It’s looking like the Force are going to be hard to beat in this competition. They have always been a handful at home but that away win on Fiji really has put them on the map. The Rising have kicked off with 2 losses and I think will be fighting it out for the wooden spoon with the Rays this season.
