NRC 2019 Round 7 Predictions

The last round of the regular season, it does go so quickly! We had a couple of upsets last weekend in the NRC so no one can feel secure.

Canberra Vikings v NSW Country Eagles – Canberra Vikings by 5

At home the Vikings should have this to secure themselves a home-semi final. I don’t think that even a bonus point win will be enough to overtale the Force at the top of the table but they could finish on the same number of points.

Sydney v Force – Force by 10

The Force might rest some players for this game as they have eyes on the finals. Even so they should beat Sydney. Sydney have been better but you can’t turn around years of neglect in this competition overnight.

Fiji Drua v Queensland Country – Fiji Drua by 5

This is a big game as the winner is in the playoffs and the loser is on holiday. At home I think the Drua will take this one but Country have been fighting well this year and it should be a fierce contest.

Brisbane City v Melbourne Rising – Brisbane City by 5

There is an outside chance of City making it to the finals but it would take a really unusual set of circumstances. That includes a draw between the Drua and Country. I can’t see that happening so it’s only really pride on the line. The Rising have picked up a couple of victories to surprise people but I still don’t see them turning over City in front of their own fans.
